The Marsh VesselGuard Pleasure Craft programme has been designed to look after the insurance needs of boats and their owners.
It provides the following key benefits -
Cover
Sudden accidental physical loss or damage to property insured under the policy
Agreed insured value that includes, where applicable, spars, sails, machinery, tender, outboards, trailer, equipment and other accessories that would normally be sold with the craft
Navigation limits up to 200/75 nautical miles for marina berthed / trailer-craft from the North and South Island of New Zealand including transportation and storage on land
Major automatic extensions
Legal liability arising from the ownership or use of the craft - $5,000,000
Emergency towing costs following a breakdown - up to $2,000 per year
Personal effects, your own or guests, whilst aboard your craft and not otherwise insured
Crew and passenger rescue costs - up to $10,000
Reimbursement of temporary accommodation costs and return costs, up to $1,000, following a craft accident
Medical expenses, up to $5,000, incurred as a result of an accident to any person while in, boarding or leaving your craft
Lump sum payment of $10,000 in total for the accidental death of the insured as a result of bodily injury whilst aboard the vessel
